Job Description
We’re seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our growing sales organization. This role is foundational to our sales strategy, focusing on generating new business opportunities and expanding existing ones by engaging with key decision-makers across Australia, New Zealand, and South East Asia.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting and Qualification: Prospect, nurture, and identify qualified opportunities to bolster the sales pipeline. This includes managing and creating outbound campaigns, identifying key decision-makers, and conducting initial sales conversations to generate interest.
  • Market Research and Engagement: Conduct research on potential leads through business directories, web searches, and digital resources; evaluate potential accounts, and identify key players aligned with ongoing marketing and sales campaigns. Utilize social selling techniques to expand the network and open up new opportunities.
  • Collaboration and Strategy: Collaborate closely with marketing and sales teams to optimize new and strategically significant expansion opportunities. Create personalized emails to engage prospects & accounts, and treat inbound inquiries with a sense of urgency to ensure they receive appropriate support.


Requirements

  • Proven Experience: 2-5 years of experience in sales or customer service is a plus, preferably in the staffing or outsourcing industry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build professional relationships and communicate effectively with diverse, senior stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively within a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and handling rejection professionally.
  • Digital Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with various digital tools and platforms used for sales, such as CRM systems, LinkedIn, and email marketing platforms.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to effectively research potential customers and identify opportunities for sales.
  • Self-Motivation: Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as part of a team, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
About the Candidate
  • Autonomy and Innovation: Ability to work autonomously and support innovation and continuous improvement by providing actionable insights and recommendations to drive effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a similar field is preferred but not required.
