TimelyCare is seeking a Director of Data and Analytics to lead the transformation of our data capabilities and strategy. You will serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the analytics team, ensuring that data initiatives are aligned with organizational goals. This role will focus on defining and executing a BI strategy—including the development of key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboarding standards, and reporting governance—as well as overseeing data architecture and infrastructure to ensure scalability, efficiency, and alignment with analytics needs. You will be instrumental in migrating from AWS Aurora to a Redshift Medallion Architecture, enabling robust reporting and analytics capabilities. As a seasoned leader, you will oversee a growing analytics team and guide the organization’s data initiatives to deliver impactful, actionable insights.
What You'll Do
Lead the development and execution of a BI strategy and data architecture roadmap that enhances TimelyCare’s analytics capabilities and supports business objectives.
Oversee the migration from AWS Aurora to a Redshift Medallion Architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and alignment with reporting needs.
Standardize dashboards, reports, and KPIs to drive consistency and trust in data across the organization.
Partner with business stakeholders to identify and prioritize reporting and analytics needs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Establish data governance frameworks for quality, accessibility, and reporting integrity, ensuring a single source of truth.
Foster a culture of self-service analytics by enabling stakeholders to leverage BI tools and access meaningful insights independently.
Lead and mentor the data engineering and analytics teams, ensuring data models, pipelines, and infrastructure support business intelligence and reporting needs.
Provide mentorship and leadership to a growing team of data professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Stay informed of industry trends and emerging BI and data architecture technologies to continuously improve data capabilities.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, and data architecture, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
Strong expertise in business intelligence strategy, including dashboard development, KPI standardization, and reporting governance.
Hands-on experience with AWS data technologies, including Redshift, S3, and Aurora.
Experience in implementing Medallion Architecture and scalable data solutions to support analytics and reporting.
Proven ability to design and implement data governance best practices, ensuring a single source of truth.
Proficiency with BI tools such as Looker or similar platforms, with a familiarity in data science concepts.
Demonstrated ability to lead remote teams effectively, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable business insights.

The salary range for this opportunity is $150,000 – $170,000 per year, depending on education and experience. This is the base pay. You will be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to the base pay, to be discussed during the interview process.
