About the Role (your why)
As Senior Consultant, you will play a key role in the Digital Engineering team delivering Application consultancy and be a key person to advise and deliver end to end software build projects including requirement gathering and workshops, design, and implementation. Day to day you will be focused on Application Modernisation, modern software development and cloud migrations including a core focus on cloud technologies.
What you’ll do
In this role, you will work closely with clients as the SME and trusted advisor to identify opportunities to improve clients’ applications and their delivery roadmaps, and ensure clients are using the best solution to meet business requirements. Key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with clients to understand their business needs and identifying areas for improvement.
- Providing technical guidance on software solutions that best address clients’ needs.
- Understand the application modernisation journey and options to present to our customers
- Understand, promote and articulate the potential role of AI in modern software development
What you’ll bring
- 7+ years’ experience in IT industry
- 5+ years’ hands-on experience in delivering Software centric projects in a consultancy
- Demonstrate proven history and involvement in migration and modernisation projects, and familiar with discovery tools
- Strong hands-on in cloud technologies (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, logging, and monitoring) that includes and not limited to design and delivery
- Strong experience in infrastructure build automation IaC, using Terraform, ARM templates and Bicep, and integration with DevOps or other repositories
- Strong experience and hand-on Azure networking and Azure security
- Experience with PowerShell and Azure CLI tools
- Strong consultation capabilities and client facing experience
- Strong knowledge of Azure CAF
