JOB OVERVIEW

The Technical Project Manager IV is responsible for leading and executing strategic and operational projects across the organization. This role ensures that teams remain focused on high-impact work by providing structure, coordination, and executional support for key initiatives. Will oversee large-scale projects, manage cross-functional initiatives, optimize internal workflows, and support leadership in driving executional efficiency. They will collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business priorities.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Strategic Project Leadership – Lead and manage high-impact technical projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and organizational priorities.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination – Work with internal stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to facilitate collaboration and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Operational Execution – Partner with teams to manage day-to-day project execution, ensuring technical deliverables are met efficiently.
  • Business Reviews & Reporting – Organize and run regular business reviews, providing visibility into project progress, risks, and opportunities.
  • Project Planning & Risk Management – Develop project timelines, track milestones, identify risks, and drive proactive mitigation strategies.
  • Process Optimization – Establish and refine repeatable execution frameworks, improving efficiency and consistency across teams.
  • Stakeholder Communication – Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Resource Management – Work with leadership to optimize resource allocation, ensuring sustainable team workloads.
  • Continuous Improvement – Identify opportunities for process enhancements and drive best practices for technical project execution.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience or as a Project Manager, leading complex projects in a technology-driven environment.
  • PMP or equivalent certification preferred, strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Proven experience in technical project management within a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and project management methodologies.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects of varying complexity.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage and influence teams at all levels; experience working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and results-oriented approach.
  • Ability to identify process inefficiencies and drive improvements to enhance team productivity.
  • Experience with healthcare IT systems, regulations and risk management, resource planning, and technical project execution to scale.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities in a demanding environment.

REQUIRED SOFTWARE EXPERIENCE

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • NetSuite
  • Smartsheet or equivalent project management software
  • Jira or equivalent
