What You’ll Do
  • Provide post-sales services including software implementation, scripting, upgrades, and migrations.
  • Work closely with the customer and project teams to ensure all deliverables are executed on time, with quality and on budget.
  • Establish and rapidly build customer trust and confidence through your technical expertise.
  • Gather requirements for solution delivery, working closely with customers and vendors to understand use cases and parameters.
  • Drive onsite workshops and consult with customers to help with their project needs.
  • Prepare technical documentation for customers, including Acceptance Test Plans.
  • Write high-quality scripts for solution delivery, migration, and static data import.
  • Track issues, manage action items, and troubleshoot customer issues throughout the project.
  • Deliver product training to customers, both onsite and remotely.
  • Transfer knowledge to the technical support team when the project is completed.
  • Act as a liaison between the customer, sales, engineering, and technical support teams.
  • Develop and promote best practices for the services team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role, implementing complex software solutions.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • A strong desire to learn, face new challenges, and grow into higher responsibilities.
  • Proven ability to influence customers, internal stakeholders, and technical teams.
  • Strong time management, organization, and presentation skills, with the ability to negotiate and collaborate effectively.
  • Ability to work independently within virtual teams, across multiple time zones.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve technical challenges.
  • Experience with VM, Unix/Linux, and Unix shell scripting.
  • Proficient in JavaScript, Python, or Perl.
  • Experience working with SQL and relational data models.
  • Knowledge of security architectures and firewalls.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, UDP, routing protocols, layer 2 and 3 switches, firewalls, load balancers, etc.).
  • Understanding of telecommunications domain and standards (TR-069, DOCSIS, GPON, etc.).
  • Experience with Cloud Computing concepts (AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure).
  • Familiarity with BSS/OSS systems.
  • Ability to design scalable and high-availability (HA) systems.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and ability to travel internationally up to 25%.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with database deployment and administration, especially Oracle, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Familiarity with Ansible and YAML.
  • Telecoms or Cable Operator experience.
  • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., MRTG, Nagios, Cacti, Sniffer).
  • Experience with REST APIs, SOAP APIs, and software integrations.
  • Experience with load balancing, HTTP server setup using NGINX or HAProxy.
  • Exposure to technologies like OpenLDAP, ElasticSearch, Kibana, Kafka, Postman.
  • Experience with containerized solutions using Kubernetes and Docker.
