Job Description
Summary
Responsible for establishing plans, determining priorities, prescribing the processes and coordinating the staff resources needed to achieve objectives of Provider Network of America LLC within MedImpact Health and Wellness’s (parent company) overall operating plans and policies.
Works collaboratively with MedImpact Health and Wellness’s Executive leaders in strategic planning, business/market planning, goal setting and developing a long-term success initiative for Provider Network of America LLC.
This position has direct oversight to PNOA Operations, including Account Management, Analytics, and Provider Contracting.
This role will be responsible to grow the company’s brand awareness.
Will have P&L responsibility and drive the growth and expansion of the business. Responsible for setting and achieving revenue goals and meeting both revenue and EBITDA targets.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Oversees/leads all functions/operations of Provider Network of America LLC.
- Oversees the financial results of Provider Network of America LLC.
- Works with MedImpact Health and Wellness’s Leadership (parent company) team to determine the strategic planning, business mapping, market outlines, budgeting, goal setting, etc. for Provider Network of America LLC.
- Interacts regularly with MedImpact Health and Wellness’s Executive team (parent company) and individual department heads to determine Provider Network of America LLC operating priorities, and procedures to implement same.
- Ensures that the development, implementation and administration of departmental business plans & budgets are consistent with overall Provider Network of America LLC strategic planning initiatives.
- Ensures Provider Network of America LLC compliance with all relevant rules, regulations and laws.
- Design and directs implementation and execution of operating and service policies, guidelines, and practices for the enterprise.
- Continually investigates and introduces operational process improvement measures and presents suggestions to President for consideration.
- Strives to ensure operations move forward & stay current while maximizing innovation.
- Completes other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages assigned staff in the functional area. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of Provider Network of America LLC. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Supports and enforces all company policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner, taking corrective action whenever necessary. Models and cultivates staff behaviors that achieve business success, including leadership skills, collaboration, accountability, and ownership. Ensures that staff members are aware of business plan objectives, individual accountabilities, and the competencies critical to successful job performance. Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
A Bachelor’s Degree in business related major or related field of study; 15+ years insurance operations experience, third-party administration (TPA) experience or PBM experience; 12+ years in a leadership capacity; only requires additional breadth of experience to be considered for next step in career path. Knowledge of distribution system and regulatory environment(s) preferred.
Computer Skills
- Basic PC knowledge including MS Office Suite strongly preferred

Reasoning Ability

Mathematical Skills

Working Hours
This is an exempt level position requiring one to work the hours needed to get the job done. Therefore, one must have the flexibility to work beyond traditional hours and be able to work nights, weekends or on holidays as required. This may be changed from time to time to meet the needs of the business. Typical core business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Travel
This position may require up to 20% domestic travel as well as attendance at local conferences and meetings.
