Job Title: Social Worker - Adults Mental Health
Location: Sheffield
Rate: £30 per hour

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to join the Adults Mental Health Team in Sheffield. 

What will your responsibilities be?

As a Social Worker in the Adults Mental Health Team, you will be responsible for conducting social care assessments and arranging care packages for hospital inpatients before their discharge. You will complete Mental Capacity Assessments, Best Interests decisions, and safeguarding duties as required, ensuring compliance with all legal frameworks. Additionally, you will attend Section 117 meetings, ward rounds, and professional discussions to advocate for individuals’ needs. You will also provide support to ASYEs, offering shadowing and learning opportunities, and participate in the duty rota as needed.

Qualifications and Experiences:
To be successful in this role, you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, and hold a degree-level qualification in Social Work. You should have post-qualified experience in adult mental health social work, with knowledge of Mental Capacity Assessments, safeguarding procedures, and Section 117 aftercare planning. A full UK driving license is required.
