Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Director of Strategic Planning & Growth with a strong background in business strategy, data analysis, and market research. This role is pivotal in shaping our company's growth trajectory by developing business cases, leveraging internal data, and extracting actionable insights from external market trends. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, evaluate market potential, and drive strategic initiatives that align with our long-term vision.

As a key contributor to the company's strategic planning process, you will play a crucial role in opportunity assessment, innovation, and the execution of growth-focused projects. This role requires a balance of analytical expertise and the ability to communicate complex strategies to both technical and business audiences, with a focus on delivering impactful and scalable results.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement actionable strategies to support the company’s growth objectives.

  • Partner with leadership to define goals, prioritize initiatives, and align resources to achieve milestones.

Business Case Development:

  • Build detailed business cases to evaluate new market opportunities, product launches, and operational improvements.

  • Use financial modeling, scenario planning, and data-driven analysis to assess the feasibility and impact of initiatives.

  • Present clear and compelling recommendations to the executive team.

Market Research and Insights:

  • Conduct research on market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to identify emerging opportunities.

  • Analyze external market data and combine it with internal performance metrics to uncover insights that drive decision-making.

  • Stay informed on industry developments, regulatory changes, and technological advancements relevant to the business.

Data Utilization and Analysis:

  • Leverage internal data to identify patterns, measure performance, and guide strategic initiatives.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and accessibility for strategic analysis.

  • Create dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics and communicate findings effectively.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Serve as a liaison between product, marketing, market insights and operational teams to align on strategies and ensure seamless execution

  • Serve as a thought partner for various departments, providing strategic guidance and market insights.

Innovation and Opportunity Identification:

  • Identify and assess new business opportunities, including potential partnerships, new market entries, or product innovations.

  • Propose creative and scalable solutions to meet customer needs and expand the company’s footprint.

Required Qualifications:
  • Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).

    • A minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic planning, business analysis, or any related role

    • Strong analytical skills with expertise in financial modeling, data analysis, and market research.

    • Ability to synthesize complex data into actionable strategies and communicate insights effectively.

    • Knowledge of start-up environments and a willingness to work in a fast-paced, agile setting.

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

    • Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) and familiarity with CRM systems is a plus.

Nice to Haves:
  • Experience with cloud platforms, API integrations, and telecommunications software solutions.

  • Familiarity with industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies in the MVNO space.

  • Ability to manage large, complex deals, including multi-million line agreements.
