Corporate IT Infrastructure Leader

Position Summary:  

The Corporate IT Infrastructure Leader ensures efficient IT operations by managing vendor relationships, overseeing desktop support, help desk services, and system administration. This role provides white-glove IT support to executives and is accountable for overall employee IT satisfaction, proactively addressing issues to enhance the organization's technology experience.

This role will report to the Sr. Manager Corporate and Distribution Center Technology.

Role Specifics:

·         Corporate IT Leadership: Leads and manages the Corporate IT Infrastructure team, ensuring smooth and efficient IT operations.

·         Conducts regular performance reviews to employees and provides feedback to both internal teams and third-party vendors.

·         Vendor & Service Management: Oversees vendor management for help desk and desktop support, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.

·         Develops and implements IT policies and procedures to optimize support processes.

·         Financial Oversight: Manages financial responsibilities, including IT invoices, expense tracking, and payment processing.

·         Executive & End-User Support: Ensures the functionality and ease of use of conference room technology.

·         Oversees and manages white-glove IT support for executive staff, addressing their technical needs promptly and professionally.

·         Proactively identifies and resolves IT issues to create a positive and productive technology experience for the organization.

·         Collaboration & Innovation: Works closely with marketing, IT, and customer service teams to ensure seamless IT operations.

·         Stays updated on the latest IT trends and technologies to continuously improve IT services and support.

·         Participates and maintains ongoing training requirements through in-class, in-person, or computer-based learning modules, as assigned.

·         Must be able to comply with all TireHub policies and procedures.

·         Completes other tasks assigned by their supervisor or another member of leadership.

 

Competencies:

  • Hardware Expertise: Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting warehouse IT hardware, including tablets, handheld scanners, printers, and network devices. Proven experience managing, configuring, and supporting Apple iPads, Keyence BTA700 Scanners, Zebra devices, specifically VC8300s, MC9300s, DS3768 Scanners and cradles, ZQ521 Printers, and ZT411 Printers.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), IT service management software (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira), and software used to manage warehouse devices (e.g., StayLinked, SOTI).
  • Staff Management: Demonstrated ability to recruit, mentor, and lead geographically dispersed IT teams of at least 5 members, both local and remote, fostering collaboration, achieving performance objectives, and driving team growth through strategic workforce planning and effective leadership.
  • Network Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with computer networks, wired and wireless, network administration, and network infrastructure installation.
  • Security: Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and the ability to implement security measures to protect warehouse IT infrastructure.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage IT projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Technical Leadership: Proven experience in leading technical teams, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact with team members, stakeholders, and external partners effectively.

 

Education/Experience:

·         Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS or a related field preferred.

·         Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), would be a bonus. 

·         10+ years progressive responsibility in a leadership role.

·         Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the tire industry preferred.

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

·         Expertise in ITIL best practices, help desk operations, and managing third-party vendors to ensure SLA compliance.

·         Strong knowledge of desktop support, operating systems (Windows & macOS), and enterprise software (e.g., Microsoft 365).

·         Experience with AV systems, video conferencing tools (Zoom, Teams, Webex), and meeting room technology.

·         Understanding of endpoint security, data protection policies, and IT security best practices.

·         Strong knowledge of networking concepts, cloud services (Meraki, Azure, AWS), and Active Directory.

·         Ability to coordinate high-touch, white-glove IT services to C-suite executives with professionalism and discretion.

·         Skilled in managing IT incidents, prioritizing escalations, and ensuring rapid resolution.

·         Strong ability to improve IT support workflows and provide training to enhance technology adoption.

·         Experience in IT budgeting, expense tracking, and vendor invoice approval and control.

·         Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with employees, vendors, and leadership teams.

·         Ability to manage multiple IT functions in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

·         Anticipates IT challenges, proactively implements solutions, and ensures a seamless IT experience for all employees.

·         Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload, adapting to changing priorities with ease.

·         Ability to manage time effectively to meet deadlines, demonstrating a strong capacity for planning and execution in a fast-paced environment.

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

·        A valid Driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience required (3 years preferred; Does not include time on learner’s permits).

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

·         Extensive Tire Industry Knowledge with in-depth understanding of programming, pricing, and rebate structures, with a focus on leveraging this expertise to drive value within the role.  

·         Comprehensive knowledge of tire industry product life cycles, from launch to phase-out, supporting informed decision-making and effective product positioning.

Working Conditions:

 

  • This is a fast-paced and dynamic operating environment.
  • Most of the time is spent sitting, constantly viewing monitors in a comfortable position with frequent opportunity to move around.  There may be occasions to move or lift light articles.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours during routinely critical times to support the department.
  • This position will require up to 50% travel to different Regional Distribution Center locations and to our TireHub Logistic Centers (TLCs), to support, IT infrastructure projects, devices, and other related needs. 
  • This is a remote position, preferably based in Atlanta, GA, with the flexibility to report to headquarters as needed.

Compensation Range for this role is $143,000-$172,500
