The team

Kraken is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Senior Product Manager to join a newly created team and project within Kraken. Our mission is to move the economy away from fiat to stablecoins. People should not have to go through a centralized body to custody their money. Banks fail and mismanage customer funds all the time. DeFi gives the power back to the people - with the convenience of cash but the safety of digital assets. We are building embedded finance, but on DeFi rails. Enabling developers to open up DeFi wallets for their users, both self-custody and multi-sig, through easy-to-use SDKs for full onboarding and management for their accounts.

We’re seeking a strong communicator and a collaborative team player who can decompose complex problems into manageable tasks. You’ll work alongside engineers across the team and organization, learning and exploring innovative ways to address issues and improve workflows.

This role requires a candidate to work onsite in San Francisco

The opportunity

Drive the development of SDKs and features that meet the needs of developers and end-users.
Prioritize product features based on user needs, market demands, and company goals.
Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver a seamless developer experience.
Ensure product success in target markets by addressing regulatory and technical challenges.

Skills you should HODL

Strong technical background; able to understand and communicate engineering challenges and solutions.
Proven track record of shipping successful products, ideally SDKs or developer tools.
Deep understanding of DeFi and blockchain technologies.
Excellent organizational skills to manage priorities across multiple teams and initiatives.
Customer-obsessed, focusing on delivering the best developer and user experience.
5+ years of product management experience, ideally in fintech, DeFi, or API-driven platforms.
