Creative Project Manager
About The Role
We are looking for a Creative Project Manager to join our dynamic creative team. In this role you will oversee the development and execution of creative campaigns—from kickoff to delivery—in collaboration with the Creative Director and Art Director. The Creative Project Manager identifies each project’s scope, clarifies deliverables, anticipates client and designer needs, develops timelines, and ensures design projects are on track. You’ll be responsible for managing large, complex projects and will also need to be comfortable in the weeds—specifically helping to manage day-to-day deliverables.
We are seeking an outgoing, self-driven, proactive individual with proven experience in creative services and associated project management, customer communications, design collaboration, quality control and supervising creative deliverables. This position requires client interaction, scoping skills, project and budget tracking, and ability to work with internal accounting and operations.

As a Creative Project Manager, You Will
- Help oversee creative campaign projects from end to end.
- Coordinate with creative suppliers and across internal teams to manage creative deliverables, vendor quotes, timelines, milestones, and key activities to ensure critical path deadline and budget considerations are met.
- Collaborate closely with Creative Director, Art Director, Graphic Designers and Copywriters to ensure campaign deliverables are high-quality and aligned with client expectations.
- Identify best practices, tools for improved productivity, and collaboration opportunities between internal teams.
- Prepare and distribute weekly traffic reports across all active projects and programs in our pipeline.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to new Creative Project Managers.

- Excellent supplier / vendor management skills
- Understanding client brand guidelines and ensure compliance in deliverables.
- Understanding the creative process, able to listen to a client’s needs, then translate into organized design instructions.
- Solution-oriented with understanding of how to approach resolving issues.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and manage personal workflow and schedules even in the midst of stressful and difficult circumstances.
- Great organizational, people management, and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to interpret and explain business content from a creative point of view.
- The ability to manage timelines, shifting priorities, and client expectations.

You Might Also Have
- A college degree from a 4- year institution.
- 3-5 years of experience managing creative campaigns and vendor relationships in an agency or similar environment, preferably within the events industry.
- Fundamental understanding of standard project management platforms, creative tools, and working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office programs.
You Should Know
- This role is virtual or in-office at our Chicago, Illinois headquarters. We work in the Central Time zone.
- Our standard working hours are 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CT with an hour-long break.

We carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors, including your professional background and experience. The salary range for candidates in applicable jurisdictions in the US for the position of Creative Project Manager is between $60,000 - $70,000 The actual pay depends on your skills, qualifications, experience, geographical location, and project budget.
