The AvaTax for Communications engineering team is looking for software engineers to join us in building cutting-edge, cloud-based SaaS solutions. This role is critical to delivering real-time tax calculations for the communications industry, helping businesses stay compliant while enhancing customer satisfaction.
Quais serão as suas responsabilidades
- Expansion of our .NET Core web application using the latest AWS technologies to provide a secure and user experience for our customers
- Performance tuning and streamlining processes with focus on through-put and reliability
- You´ll be responsible for Designing, expanding, and maintaining scalable reporting systems which manage millions of monthly data records
- Production support, including a shared on-call rotation (typically a 1-week rotation per team member every month or so) in collaboration with our global support team and well-established escalation procedures
- Stay abreast in new technologies including AWS, .NET & database systems
- Want to improve yourself and the team around you
- You´ll report to Software Engineering Manager
O que precisa possuir para ser bem sucedido
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science plus at least 3 years' experience in software engineering
- Experience creating REST APIs in a C# codebase (or similar language)
- Proficiency with querying and modifying schemas for relational databases such as MSSQL and experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
- CI/CD experience using automation tools such as Gitlab pipelines, GitHub Actions, etc.
- Docker, AWS - S3, RDS, EC2, Lambda, Aurora Postgres
- Understanding of security protocols and best practices
- Advanced English Level
- Only CV´s in English will be considered
