Job description

Hi, we’re Influx, the global leader in pay-as-you-go support teams. We’re proudly based in Melbourne, with clients based in Australia, the US, Canada, UK and Europe.

Companies like Linktree, Meshki, Blenders Eyewear and Saturn partner with Influx to make their support teams fast, flexible and scalable, while maintaining or improving key metrics like CSAT, NPS and time to resolution.

Our service is month-to-month (think AWS for customer service), with approachable service models for startups, scaleups and Enterprise clients.

We are seeking a skilled Front-End Developer to contract with our team and contribute to building intuitive, user-friendly interfaces based on new designs across influx.com.

Responsibilities

Develop and Optimize: Build responsive, mobile-first web applications using modern front-end technologies (e.g. HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Ruby) based on new web designs.

Collaborate: Work closely with the marketing team & back-end developers to translate UI/UX designs into functional and interactive applications.

Maintain Quality: Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility standards, and optimal performance.

Code Efficiency: Write clean, reusable, and efficient code while following best practices.

Debugging: Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues and bugs.

Stay up to date: Stay up to date with the latest trends, frameworks, and technologies in front-end development.

Qualifications

Experience: Proven experience as a Front-End Developer utilising Ruby in a similar role.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks/libraries.

Version Control: Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.

Responsive Design: Strong understanding of responsive design principles and frameworks.

Communication: Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-Haves

• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch).

• Experience with web performance optimization techniques.

What you’ll get

  • The opportunity to make an impact at a fast-growing scale-up.
  • Work closely with senior leadership in a company scaling for ambitious growth.
  • 100% remote work opportunity in a high-performance environment that values life outside of work.
