Requirement: Must be active-duty U.S. military service member who qualifies for participation in the DoD SkillBridge Program. Must be willing to live/work in the location above. This is not a remote/telework opportunity.
Altimeter Solutions, LLC (Altimeter), is a technical consulting firm that specializes in providing the highest quality analytical/technical consultative services possible. Altimeter’s mission is to provide proven professional solutions/services that represent the uppermost levels of industry technical competencies and value. Altimeter Solutions holds a Top Secret facility clearance, and places contract and permanent technical resources with prime vendors for the DoD and other Federal government branches nationwide.
Internship Description: Position provides the opportunity for an individual to learn various roles within an organization that supports multiple business sectors. The individual selected will have training in various operations and revenue driving functions, as well as be provided with the opportunity to gain experience that directly relates to the growth of their career.
Recruiting Responsibilities:
Complete tasks that support the recruiting lifecycle process for SkillBridge internships
Consult with client and internal teams in respect to clients’ job requirements and the preparation of job postings
Source qualified candidates using ATS (applicant tracking system) and other sources i.e.: LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Partners, etc.
Update data and statuses on candidates, jobs, and clients in ATS
Coordinate initial calls and interviews between candidates and recruiting team
Prescreen candidates profiles, and provide candidate recommendations to recruiting team
Open to periodically participate in virtual career fairs
Administrative Responsibilities:
Simultaneously self-manage tasks across multiple business units within the organization
Excellent computer skills; to include Microsoft Word, Excel Spreadsheets, and the use of communication applications (Teams, Zoom, etc.)
Ability to handle reports and metrics
Experience in, or willingness to learn, various technology programs and systems to support both internal and external teams
Must be flexible, with the ability to quickly change priorities when needed and positively interact with executives, managers, customers, and other administrators
Provide attention to detail and take initiative, with the ability to anticipate needs
Prepare the proper documentation, as needed (offer emails/letters, onboarding requirements, etc.)
