Business Process Analyst

Index Analytics is seeking a Business Process Analyst to support Government clients in the Baltimore and Washington D.C. Metro Area. The Business Process Analyst will collaborate with our customers to support the development of the business process, develop business process manuals, and communicate effectively to both business and technical audiences to deliver solutions.

Responsibilities

• Quickly learn and understand business requirements to an existing application.
• Test and troubleshoot the process flow of various existing modules.
• Write, edit, and maintain clear knowledge base articles and user manuals for an existing application for both internal and external users.
• Periodically review and update content to minimize duplication, address customer feedback and enhance usability.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand product updates and changes and incorporate them into relevant knowledge base and user manual content as needed.
• Ensure documents meet editorial and government specifications and adhere to standards for quality.
• Attend weekly client meetings and take detailed, accurate notes on discussions, decisions, and action items for all subject matters.
• Ensure that all key points, follow-up tasks, and deadlines are captured and organized into actionable items and distribute it to meeting participants and stake holders.
• Attend requirements gathering meetings with the client to identify business needs, functional and system requirements.
• Able to work both independently and collaboratively within the team on the assigned task.
• Understand, visualize, and manage upstream/downstream dependencies.

Qualifications

Qualifications

• US citizen or Authorized to Work and lived in the US for 3 of the last 5 years. Must be able to obtain a U.S. Federal government client badge and pass a government Public Trust.
• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience with at least 4 years of experience in IT domain. Four years of specialized experience may substitute for a Bachelor’s degree.
• Excellent writing skills, attention to details and demonstrate the ability to break down complex requirements into actionable work items.
• Knowledge and experience of Agile software development methodology. Prior experience with Center for Medicare Medicaid Services or other Govt agencies is a preferred. Experience working in Salesforce, MS Office and Jira/Confluence is preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication required.

The salary range provided represents the estimated compensation for new hires in this position, applicable across all locations. Actual offers may vary based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and market conditions.
