Job description

TELUS Health is empowering every person to live their healthiest life. Guided by our vision, we are leveraging the power of our leading edge technology and focusing on the uniqueness of each individual to create the future of health. As a global-leading health and well-being provider – encompassing physical, mental and financial health – TELUS Health is improving health outcomes for consumers, patients, healthcare professionals, employers and employees.

The Impact You’ll Make and What We’ll Accomplish Together:

As a Junior Quality Assurance Analyst, you'll develop and execute test scenarios and cases, conduct manual testing, track defects, and monitor their resolution to completion. You'll perform quality assurance tasks according to established standards while meeting critical delivery deadlines. Contributing to testing strategies and plans, you'll assess the impact of changes to existing retirement solutions and collaborate with team members by assisting and reviewing their QA work. This remote position, based in Quebec, offers an excellent opportunity to grow your QA career while working with experienced professionals.

What You’ll Do:

  • Communicate with functional managers, business analysts, solution designers, or developers to clearly understand the scope of testing.

  • Analyze technical documents to identify high-level test scenarios.

  • Build manual test scripts by identifying expected outcomes and corresponding test data for execution.

  • Keep the test suite up-to-date based on new features added or changes to existing features.

  • Prioritize test execution based on the priority assigned to test cases.

  • Execute manual test scripts, capture actual results, and report defects.

  • Track the resolution of defects within the allotted time and perform rechecks.

  • Meet deadlines by properly managing and prioritizing assigned tasks.

  • Participate in defining the testing strategy and plan.

  • Assess the impact of changes and identify corresponding test cases for regression testing.

You're the Missing Piece of the Puzzle:

  • 1-3 years experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst with strong knowledge of Agile principles and active participation in Agile development lifecycles

  • Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment to quality

  • Demonstrated ability to approach problem-solving through both conceptual thinking and data-driven analysis, drawing from past experience, research and methodologies

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Strong customer-centric mindset with the ability to understand and anticipate client testing requirements

  • Must be bilingual in French and English (written and spoken)

  • Personal qualities: curious, disciplined, and creative
