REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

The Regional Sales Manager manages and leads distributers per predefined company’s objectives to maximize revenue and profitability, ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning and deployment, identifies objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long-term sales and earnings.

Relevant geographical territories: Albania, Belgium, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Hungary, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Poland, Serbia, Turkey and all other Balkan territories, excluding Romania. The territories may change from time to time.

Main Duties:

  • Development and successful implementation of sales strategies with distributors.
  • Ability to manage and develop relationships with selected Key Opinion Leaders within the industry.
  • Continuous and sustained expansion of the corporate market positioning.
  • Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
  • Coordinates company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
  • Collaborates with marketing and clinical to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines.
  • Manages distributers according to pre-defined goals and objectives.
  • Continually educating by establishing programs/seminars in the areas sales growth, and sales of emerging products and multi-product sales. The key focus being on profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, and utilizing sales support. 

 Requirements: 

  • At least 5 years of experience in managing distributors with a proven record in the medical devices industry.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Previous experience in recruiting distributors
  • Relevant experience in the main territories.
  • Experience in capital equipment sales.
  • Education – relevant degree in business administration.
  • The right commercial understanding, strong negotiation skills, knows how to build and maintain long term partnerships.
  • Knows how to work and plan for mid/long term and doesn't look /take care only after the short term.
  • Knows how to "sell value" and not only sell by good price. Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skills.
  • High execution skills, problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information. Must be driven and self-motivated, able to work independently and cooperate with others.
  • Must be willing to travel throughout the region – estimated 70%
