About the role:
You will be responsible for supervising the delivery of data-intensive projects for Customers from Pharma and BioTech with a special focus on clinical trials area. You will ensure collaboration is successful for the client (delivering measurable value), our team (high employee satisfaction score) and Appsilon (growing business and billability).

🎯 Role: Delivery Manager (Drug Development/Bio Unit)
💰 Salary: 4750-5500 USD (EUR or PLN also possible!) on a B2B contract
📆 Employment Type: Full-time contractor, with a long-term commitment
⏱ Working hours: Flexible (but there should be at least 3 hours in the Polish timezone of 10:00-14:00 and at least 3 in the US timezones, eg. 15:00-19:00 CET)
🖥️ Working mode: 100% remote📍 Office location: Chmielna 2/31 St., 00-020 Warsaw (it’s only the correspondence address, there’s NO need for working onsite in the office :)
🇬🇧 Spoken language: B2/C1 (preferably C1) English as Appsilon is an international working environment!
What you'll be doing?Guiding the Customer during the project:Advising on the release processAdvising how to achieve impactChallenging Customer plans to find an optimal approachEscalating risks in a timely manner;
Ensuring Customer satisfaction:

Ensuring that the Customer has confidence that you understand their business needsBuilding long-term relationships and trust by surprising clients with addedvalue, proactive insights, and personalized attentionBeing able to discuss and address specific technical issuesSharing your prior experience in the clinical trials areaHaving regular meetings with client and discuss their challengesVisiting clients on-site;
Having an impact on projects’ continuity:
Ensuring that the Customer is successful thanks to our project and wants tocontinue working togetherDeveloping a perfect understanding of the customer organization and decision-making progress;
Managing the team directly:
Being a direct manager of 2-14 individual contributorsProviding career support and finding opportunities to growIdentifying growing talents and underperformers and acting on it in a timely manner;
Being a part of Project/Product Management - if needed, you will take over the role of a Project/Product Manager who works hands-on in the project, by managing the backlog, handling communication with the customer, clarifying requirements and supporting software engineers.
