Job description

Sr UX Researcher needed who specializes in qualitative research methods. The UX Researcher will be running recurring user interviews to evaluate new UI. This person will also lead focus groups and interviews to gather feedback on designs that have already been developed. We're looking for candidates who can work closely with design and product teams. Ideally, someone who can speak to design and help strengthen and improve vs being a blocker. Must be able to work independently, do all the recruitment, design each study and structure processes themselves.

  • Start date: February
  • Location: remote
  • Duration: 3 months (likely to extend)
  • Hours: must be able to work EST hours

Skill requirements:

  • Qual expert, especially moderating user interviews and focus groups
  • Experience with brand research (e.g. brand strategy, rebrands, etc.)
  • Experience conducting evaluative research of digital product, ideally with a product redesign (but not required)
  • Expert in program/project management
  • Adept at collaborating with designers
  • Has independently designed studies end to end, including recruitment management, with minimal support or resources. Our client's research ops program is nascent so while they have basic tools (panel, Dscout, screener, etc.) this person will need to be extremely proactive. This is not big tech
