Job Description

We are currently looking for a Sales Specialist in Food and Nutrition Division. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for generation of sales and developing sales pipeline within APAC for the Supply Chain Food Safety and Agricultural business units. Open for locations Auckland (New Zealand), Sydney and Melbourne (Australia)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing/growing customers to key account level
  • 50 % Face to Face / 50 % Transaction
  • Partners with business units for delivery/completion of strategic projects
  • Develops sales plans and forecasts for the Territory/Program, analyzing the local market’s needs and expectations, and partnering with marketing on building/executing a strategy designed specifically for the Territory/Program
  • Experience developing and maintaining strong customer relationships within the Territory/Program beyond quality assurance function to expand business offerings
  • Deep knowledge/experience in targeted territory/program, account planning and territory management.
  • Managing and maintaining a pipeline and ensuring all sales administration is current using Sales Force CRM software

Qualifications

  • 4-year degree required
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in Food or Nutrition and Wellness /TIC required
  • Deep knowledge/experience in targeted territory/program
  • Account planning and territory management
  • Selling proficiency of product portfolio
  • Proficient in CRM tools and systems - Salesforce
  • General skills/qualifications - Direct selling experience /quota responsibility
  • Managing forecast accuracy on a regular basis
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills
  • Preferable to have TIC industry knowledge/experience
  • Willingness and ability to travel
