This role will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across the organization including: Sears Home Services (SHS), Shop Your Way (SYW), Sears Online Services (SOS), Kenmore, Craftsman Diehard Brands (KCD), Sears, & Kmart brands and business units. They will also directly manage the Facilities team which is a team of 8.
Job Summary
The Sr Director, Strategic Sourcing Facilities is responsible for leading strategic procurement initiatives across the company s facilities portfolio, optimizing supplier relationships, and driving cost savings while ensuring operational excellence. This role partners with key stakeholders across Real Estate, Finance, Legal, and Retail to develop sourcing strategies, negotiate contracts, and manage facility service providers. With a focus on change management, financial modeling, and process improvement, the Sr Director plays a critical role in enhancing procurement efficiency, mitigating risks, and delivering value-driven solutions.

Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitates supplier selection, negotiates complex contracts, and drafts scopes of work for Facilities Services
Prepares contractual documentation, including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, and change orders in collaboration with Legal
Develops financial models and presents recommendations to leadership for real estate portfolio enhancements
Manages the RFx process, including supplier site walks, bidder conferences, and RFP-related activities
Leads contract negotiations, ensuring supplier terms align with business objectives and compliance requirements
Utilizes software tools like Yardi, NetSuite, and SmartSheets to automate and optimize Facilities procurement
Engages stakeholders, Group Purchasing Organizations, and project teams to align sourcing strategies
Implements process and policy changes across the Facilities Team to drive operational improvements
Tracks cost savings opportunities, performance targets, and procurement goals to enhance sourcing efficiency
Provides market intelligence and regular updates to leadership on trends, savings, and risk mitigation strategies
Performs supervisory functions, including but not limited to, making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting and terminating, conducting performance appraisals and coaching and developing associates
Job Requirements
Bachelors Degree
Over 10 years of related experience
18 years of age or older
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Finance, or Supply Chain
10+ years of Facilities Strategic Sourcing and supplier relations experience and 7+ years leading Strategic Sourcing and Procurement operations teams
Hands-on strategic negotiation experience and portfolio management experience with Facilities, Construction, and FF&E
Must have both quantitative and qualitative market research experience
Ability to interpret and utilize key financial data; can tell a story with data
Excellent planning and prioritization skills with the ability to quickly adapt to change
High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Proven track record of high-value, complex deal-making successes with the ability to professionally navigate through difficult conversations to obtain buy-in
Must be self-directed and able to work independently but also able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented department
Business, legal and financial acumen to communicate and develop integrated sourcing strategies
Preferred Skills
Master's degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Finance, or Supply Chain
