What is the role?

We are looking for a highly talented and motivated Product Development Process Lead to join our team. In this role, you will follow the installation processes of the outputs of the software development teams to the customers, technically participate in customer meetings on behalf of the team and manage project managers by addressing technical and process-related questions while ensuring these processes are followed. You will ensure that these processes are managed efficiently and propose actionable solutions for improvement. You will collaborate closely with product analysts, product owners and cross-functional teams to manage release processes, communicate product updates and ensure seamless coordination between various departments. This role will not have direct human resource management responsibilities.

Teams to work closely with; DevOps Delivery, DevOps Engineering, Software Development, Product Analysts, Project Management, QA Team, Success Management, Support Engineering

What you’ll be responsible:

Manage coordination and communication with the product development teams,
Monitor, plan and oversee the product development lifecycle, making recommendations for improvement,
Prioritize and manage requests from product, operations and support teams, ensuring alignment with overall objectives,
Ensure operational requests are effectively incorporated into product development teams and track the progress of solutions,
Plan and oversee technical processes, collaborating closely with technical leads and product owners on key issues,
Actively participate in technical meetings and effectively lead these discussions,
Possess advanced SQL skills to support technical decision making and data analysis,
Analyze data to provide actionable insights that aid decision making and prepare detailed reports and dashboards to support business operations,
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for business processes, project plans and implementation solutions to ensure transparency and facilitate cross-team collaboration,
Oversee project timelines, resources and deliverables, ensuring clear communication and alignment between technical and business teams throughout the project,
Provide technical analysis to guide project decisions and direction,
Assess and analyze client requirements and business objectives to ensure that projects meet both client needs and broaden company goals.

We are looking for a passionate talent professional who has;

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
At least 6 years of experience in software project management, systems analysis, software development, process management, team leadership, or quality management
Deep understanding of software product development lifecycles and operations, with hands-on experience managing these processes

Strong understanding of project management methodologies, particularly Scrum and Agile
Proficiency in creating technical documentation
Familiar with contemporary software development practices and comfortable with programming logic
Capable of preparing technical analyses for software development projects
Knowledge of SQL for writing queries
Comprehensive knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes
Proficient in utilizing project management tools such as Jira, MS Project, PPM, etc.
High-level persuasion and negotiation skills
A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and teach others
A strong focus on statistical analysis and data-driven decision-making
Team-oriented with a results-driven mindset and ability to collaborate effectively
Solid knowledge of negotiation techniques and conflict management
Ability to anticipate risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
Comfortable engaging with software architects and technical leaders to question and review the work being done
Strong customer management skills with a solution-oriented approach, excellent persuasion abilities, and interpersonal communication skills
