Job Description:
We are looking for a seasoned Android developer with 7-8 years of experience to join client's team and contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality Android applications. You will be responsible for building robust, scalable, and user-friendly mobile apps while staying updated with the latest Android technologies and best practices.
Responsibilities:
App Development:
Design, develop, and implement new features for Android applications across various devices and screen sizes.
Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code using Java/Kotlin following Android development guidelines.
Optimize app performance for speed, memory usage, and battery life.
Integrate with backend APIs and services to retrieve and manage data efficiently.
Implement UI/UX designs using Android UI components and custom views.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Conduct thorough unit testing and integration testing to ensure code quality and stability.
Identify and troubleshoot bugs and performance issues.
Collaborate with QA teams to execute comprehensive testing strategies.
Architecture and Design:
Adhere to established architectural patterns (e.g., MVP, MVVM) to build maintainable and scalable applications.
Design and implement robust data persistence mechanisms (local storage, database, network caching).
Required Skills and Experience:
Proficient in Java and Kotlin, with a strong understanding of Android SDK and core development concepts.
Familiarity with Android UI design principles, creating user-friendly interfaces with Material Design guidelines.
Expertise in consuming RESTful APIs and handling data serialization/deserialization.
Proficient in unit testing and UI testing frameworks.
Strong understanding of Git for code management.
