Traveling and flying has become much cheaper in the last few years. But why is parking at the airports still so expensive? And if you have found a cheap parking spot, how do you know if the parking is reliable and fair? We thought it was time to help travelers answer these questions, and create a transparent offer. That's the reason we started Parkos. At Parkos, we help travelers with finding the best parking space near the airport. Just as Airbnb has no apartments and Uber does not own taxis, Parkos does not have its own parking spaces. We play a mediating role in the market between supply and demand. We do this in about 15 countries with 80 colleagues based in the city center of Groningen. Since we are an international company, colleagues with 9 different nationalities are working here at Parkos and mostly we speak English with each other. For example, we have colleagues who come from Italy, France, Poland, the USA, and Germany. Diversity is important to us. Job description

Parkos is expanding and we are looking for Medior or Senior Front-end Engineers. We are an international scale up, with the mission to become world's No 1 in airport parking. At the end of 2024 we were acquired by CAVU, joining one of the biggest players in the airport services industry.

Parkos is a platform to find and book airport parking spots. We started ten years back, at The Netherlands' biggest airport, Schiphol. Now we are active in 16 countries (such as France, Germany, Spain, Australia, and The Netherlands). Serving millions of customers and 1000+ parking partners.

Our Software development department consists of three independent teams. Each team manages its own roadmap, microservices and development cycle. You will work at the Booking Experience team to help reach our goals.

Responsibilities

Stay ahead of the curve by developing winning new features backed by experimentation
Develop great user interfaces and experiences using Nuxt 3, Vue.js, and Tailwind
Move our projects to Nuxt 3 and refine existing projects

Who are you?

Experience with Nuxt (server side, client side and hybrid -rendering)
Understanding of Microservices and Micro-Frontends (including knowing its anti-patterns)
Understanding of consuming REST Api's and Restful standards
Experience optimizing browser performance with a focus on Core Web Vitals
Experience with AB testing / running experiments
E-commerce or marketplace experience
