Job description

MadKudu is the one-stop shop for B2B Saas companies who want to optimize their Revenue automation game. Madkudu translates buyer signals (1st & 3rd party data) into automated actions to generate more pipeline.

We are a tech startup based in San Francisco, CA. We raised $30m from some of the best VCs in the world (Felicis, BGV, Alven), have revenue, and amazing customers (Figma, MongoDB, Unity, etc.).

Your mission is to oversee and support the technical evolution of MadKudu's core platform so that it is always at the top of the state of the art, that it supports MadKudu's growth objectives, and that it ensures the best possible customer experience.

As an engineer, you are called upon to help on projects and efforts that have the strongest strategic value.

In short, you own the technical aspects of MadKudu's core platform.

Responsibilities & activities

  • Own MadKudu’s core data platform: share the vision, lead the implementation of new technologies and the design and development of new features, help other engineers to grow
  • Nurture technological watch
  • Support the projects and efforts that have the strongest strategic value
  • Improves the other engineers, serves as an official MadKudu mentor
  • Communicate outside the company and publicly represent company culture and values

Skills that will help crush it in this position

  • Outstanding Software Engineering skills (development, architecture,…)
  • Strong knowledge of Data Engineering (data modelling and processing,
  • streaming, queues, databases, ETLs, etc.), applied in professional and
  • challenging environments
  • Significant knowledge of the “Modern Data Stack”
  • Passion for infra, systems and production topics (monitoring, automation,
  • deployment on AWS, CI/CD, etc.)
  • Great ability to lead and mentor
  • Deep empathy for users
