We are currently hiring a Fiscal Operations Manager to join our team!

What You Will Be Doing:
Required
- Develops or participates in the development of department objectives and action plans; monitors progress and implements appropriate interventions based on results.
- Plans and assigns work ensuring that timely and effective adjustments are made.
- Supervises or performs quantitative and qualitative analyses on a variety of complex and diverse strategic and operation issues, including but not limited to cost, performance, and financial impact.
- Develops and prepares effective decision support tools and financial models for accurate evaluation of performance and to assist in management decision-making.
- Assisting with tracking HPSJ Community Reinvestment grant-making initiatives, including revenue, cash flows, expenditures and processing year end encumbrance and carryover, as well as monitoring awardee milestone progress
- Provides on-going consultation and technical assistance to executive management and departmental staff on budgetary/fiscal issues.
- Identifies and implements process improvements, working with internal stakeholders as needed.
- Provides direct support to the Chief Financial Officer, Director, Fiscal Operations, and other Finance Directors on a wide range of assignments, including budget preparation and monitoring, cost management, contract tracking, project and transaction fund management, and regulatory compliance.

- Familiarity with political, business, education, non-profit and other community leaders in San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties and/or surrounding areas.
- Knowledge of the economic and healthcare issues, and issues affecting the underserved in San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties and/or surrounding areas.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state regulations applicable to managed care.
What You Have:
Education and Experience
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Public Policy, Public Health, Public Administration or other relevant field; and
- At least three years of experience in project management, operations, or quality assurance; and
- At least five years of experience in business operations, financial operations or accounting; and
- At least three years of supervisor experience; or
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred
- Healthcare industry, managed care, and Medi-Cal and/or Medicare experience
Licenses, Certifications
Required
- Valid California license and reliable transportation or, the ability to obtain transportation on demand in the counties served by HPSJ if prohibited from getting a driver license due to a medically documented disability.
