CASA Mental Health is a trusted non-profit organization based in Edmonton delivering holistic, culturally safe, wrap-around mental health services to approximately 4,000 children ages three to 18 and their families each year. We do this through a team of specialized mental health professionals and trauma experts committed to delivering outcomes-based programming in collaboration with community partners.
Join CASA Mental Health as the Business Intelligence Analyst, where you will play a key role in supporting the use of data analytics across the organization.
Business Intelligence and Evaluation supports the evaluation of clinical programs and utilizes business intelligence analytics to support data-driven decision-making and organizational strategy.
The Business Intelligence Analyst will:
Integrate data from multiple sources to provide a unified view for analysis and reporting.
Conduct data cleaning, transformation, exploration, analysis and visualization.
Work with spreadsheets and databases, including programming languages such as R or Python to extract, transform and load data from multiple sources.
Provide quality assurance of all data and BI outputs.
Collaborate with business and clinical teams to understand their data needs and requirements.
Design, develop and maintain reports and dashboards using BI tools such as Power BI, or similar platforms to visualize key business metrics.
Define and recommend metrics and key performance indicators to support department and program goals; identify industry benchmarks and trends.
Provide recommendations on industry best practices in BI and innovative BI software/tools.
Support the development of interactive dashboards, Geographic Information System (GIS) maps, reports and data visualizations for monitoring performance and quality across the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, mathematics, statistics, data science or related field.
Combination of education and experience may be considered.
Knowledge and/or experience in data analytics.
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI and/or Tableau.
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
Proficiency in programming languages such as R and Python.
Conditions of Employment
A satisfactory Criminal Records Check with Vulnerable Sector Search. This would be the financial responsibility of the successful candidate.
This role offers a hybrid arrangement between work-from-home and CASA’s downtown office. Travel to other CASA sites is required.
