We make eco-friendly products and donate 50% of our profits to provide clean water and help build toilets for the billions of people who lack proper access. So far, we’ve contributed over $18 million AUD (roughly £9.8 million GBP) to fund sanitation projects around the globe. Basically, we’re really good at doing good. 

With hubs in Australia, the Philippines, China, the US, UK and Europe, our amazing team of 200+ work to make the biggest possible impact for people and the planet. Over the next couple of years, we’re hoping to increase our annual donation tenfold to get us closer to our dream of everyone in the world having access to clean water and sanitation services.

A bit about the role

As we expand our team for the UK/EU market, we’re seeking a driven Business Development Manager for Out of Home with strong commercial expertise to help us generate £500k in new annual business with non-D2C accounts. This role is crucial in establishing WGAC as the leading eco-friendly TP brand in the B2B wholesale sector, and your efforts will directly support our mission to create positive social impact.

Reporting to the Senior Commercial Manager, OOH, you’ll focus on identifying and building strategic partnerships with the right distribution partners. By securing mutually beneficial agreements, you’ll help drive growth while supporting our charitable efforts to improve sanitation in underserved communities.

We’re hiring for this role from anywhere in the UK. Our hybrid hub model means this role will be remote-first, while meeting up as a UK/EU team weekly at our London office, and trips to reach customers in London.

  • Brainstorming with the team on new ideas on how to maximise our new business outreach
  • Attending a trade show to network, learn, and identify new business opportunities
  • Building connections with other brands to explore potential partnerships

You’re driven by a real passion for winning new business with national accounts and multisite groups. With your deep expertise in the UK Out of Home market, you have a knack for crafting and executing strategies that truly connect with and engage your target customers.

You’re commercially savvy

You have a strong financial acumen, analysing P&L statements to secure the best deals and create effective customer JBPs. You drive growth while aligning with company goals, developing plans that ensure long-term success and meet revenue targets.

You’re a relationship builder

You’re great at building strong networks, earning trust, and creating lasting relationships with customers and suppliers through open communication. You also create a collaborative, inclusive environment by working closely with different teams to align on goals and drive success together.

You’re a thinker…

You use critical thinking to assess distribution partners, ensuring they align with the company’s goals and growth objectives. Skilled in negotiating win-win agreements that drive success and competitive edge, you make sound decisions and find practical solutions, even when information is limited.

…but also a doer

You actively manage the P&L for Out of Home accounts, spotting opportunities to grow revenue, cut costs, and boost profitability. With a hands-on approach, you secure commercial deals and brand partnerships that drive visibility and performance in key Out of Home channels.
