The Designer works collaboratively with other designers conducting user research, helping to craft the information architecture, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes. Under direction, the Designer helps develops the overall design and specifications for creating and enhancing the experience and functionality of user interfaces for products, including websites, software, hardware, and tools. Partners with marketing, product management and product.
Responsibilities
Under direction, translates business goal into a cohesive user experience by reconciling user and business needs, technical capabilities and best practices in interaction design and usability
Researches and communicates opportunities to enhance the product experience through user research and testing
Participates in brainstorming and working sessions with business stakeholders and execution team
May perform user design research, including aggregation and analysis of primary and secondary research data, for consumer and user design acceptance and overall user experience
Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mock-ups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
Partners with marketing, product management and product development to help create design architecture, specifications and requirements for the look, feel and functionality of products
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum of 2years of UX/UI design experience
A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms
Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, CSS (SCSS), iOS, Android, Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite
A team player but can work independently too
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
