Salary: $110,000.00 USD Annually - $150,000.00 USD Annually

Description: Our client is currently seeking a Quality Engineer

This Job Will Have The Following Responsibilities

  • As a Quality Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. You will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control processes, conducting inspections and tests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. Your expertise will help us uphold our commitment to delivering superior products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures.
  • Conduct inspections, tests, and audits to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.
  • Create PPAP documentation for new and existing products.
  • Support New Product Development through collaborative work with Engineering and Production.
  • Provide support to Production to prevent Customer Escapes.
  • Analyze data, run root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Management Standards.
  • Act as an Internal Auditor.
  • Achieve certification to ISO14001 and IATF16949.
  • Analyze data and identify trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and customer service, to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints and quality-related issues.
  • Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective action records.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quality engineering.

Qualifications

  • Four-year college degree in Engineering or Quality.
  • Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing quality experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, and IATF16949.
  • Knowledge of AS9001 is a plus.
  • Leadership skills to drive continuous improvement.
  • Experience with 8D and other root cause analysis tools.
  • Lean experience is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using quality control software and tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
