As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Executive to join our team and drive our relationships with hyperscale clients to new heights. 

Account Executive: 

As an Account Executive focused on data center customers, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and fostering strong, long-lasting customer relationships. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the data center customers market. This position is responsible for the sale of Salute services to any data center customer.  Utilizing account information and sales pipeline reports to provide Salute customers with opportunities to repair, update, upgrade, secure, and operate and maintain their mission-critical facility.  The Account Executive mostly pursues new clients within the geographic territory and/or account lists as outlined by leadership. Contributions expected to include support of the business unit and effective collaboration within the organization to achieve organizational goals.  

Salary: $120k-$140k/yr + quarterly commission

Hours: Normal Business Hours (Days)

This is a remote position and requires up to 25% travel. 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

Business Development:  

  • Identify, qualify, and prioritize potential data center customers.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate target accounts.
  • Conduct effective sales calls, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities.

 

Customer Relationship Management:  

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at data center customers.
  • Understand customer needs and pain points to tailor solutions effectively.
  • Proactively anticipate and address customer concerns and issues.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all account-related matters.

 

Sales Process:  

  • Develop and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximize profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Track and manage sales performance metrics.

 

Market Knowledge:  

  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the data center customers market and its specific needs.
  • Identify opportunities for new products and services within the target market.

 

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • 5+ years of proven sales experience in the construction industry, preferably with a focus on Data center customers.
  • Strong understanding of the data center industry, including project lifecycles, procurement processes, and key stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales enablement tools.
  • Self-motivated and results oriented.

 

Preferred: 

  • Military Service
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field.
