Join ARES' team in support of NASA on the Kennedy Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) Program (LX) Support Services Contract Three (KLXS III) contract. Under the contract, ARES provides engineering and technical services, program and business management support services and administrative support services to the EGS Program. The contract also includes support for ground systems and spaceflight systems planning and design; project management and integration; operations integration and analysis; technical requirements development, management, and compliance; cost, risk, information and configuration management; and schedule integration and analysis.

Job Description:

• Coordinate and evaluate operational concepts, documentation, and processing approaches.  Evaluations shall consider operability, resources, logistics, and timelines to meet EGS Program milestones efficiently.
• Provide operational oversight and integration during test, V&V, and checkout and monitoring activities associated with flight hardware, Ground Support Equipment, and facility systems. 
• Support test activities, V&V, and associated planning to include: Evaluation of test objectives; Review of EGS, SLS, and Orion test guidelines, procedures, and policies relative to V&V or operational test;  Review of requirements, StEs, and V&V objective closure evidence and reporting; Integration of Program level test schedules.
• Assist in the development of EGS timelines for both offline and integrated processing.
• Assist with developing, integrating, and editing materials and presentations for program reviews, boards, and other management forums.

 Required Skillset:

• The position requires a BS in Engineering or technical equivalent and 10 years of relevant work experience
