We are looking for a Medical Virtual Assistant with exceptional English communication skills to support our client and the practices daily operations. This full-time role (40 hours/week) requires a highly organized individual who can independently manage administrative and medical receptionist tasks while maintaining a professional and approachable demeanor.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage refills for patient prescriptions.
Answer phone calls, schedule patients, and provide outstanding customer service.
Route calls to the appropriate person or department.
Process intake forms including patient histories and other required documentation.
Perform general administrative tasks such as uploading faxes, managing referrals, and updating records.
Skills and Qualities:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability.
Open to feedback and proactive in making improvements.
Reliable, reachable, and committed to high-quality service.
Technical Tools:
Familiarity with EMR System
Familiarity with VOIP Platforms
