Summary

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing scalable, robust and high-quality solutions. As an engineer you are a professional with several years of hands-on experience, possessing advanced technical skills and in-depth knowledge. You excel in problem-solving, effective communication, guiding and mentoring other engineers, making critical technical decisions, and contributing to the strategic direction of projects.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.

Professional Experience

• 5+ years of professional in data-related technologies.

Required Skills

• Solid understanding of data fundamentals, including data transformations, exploratory analysis, data cleaning, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in database systems (e.g., SQL).
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git, GitHub, GitLab).
• Knowledge of API standards (e.g., REST, gRPC, GraphQL).
• Competence in cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Working knowledge of development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
• Strong grasp of data storage solutions (e.g., Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Lakehouse).
• Hands-on expertise in Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, SnowFlake, Storm).
• Ability to design efficient data transformation processes (e.g., ETL, design patterns, pipeline scheduling).
• Experience in managing data storage services (e.g., Blob storage, SnowFlake, Redshift).
• Proficiency in programming languages and frameworks (e.g., Python, R, C#, Java).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Solid understanding of data testing practices (e.g., database querying, ensuring data integrity).
• Ability to work with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Awareness of security protocols and standards (e.g., OWASP, OAuth).
