Job Description:

We are excited to be looking for a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Crypto Content Manager. In this role, you will drive organic growth and help create compelling, high-quality content tailored to the German-speaking crypto market. As part of our DACH crypto department, you will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our content strategy, ensuring it aligns with SEO best practices and industry standards. You will manage a team of editors and writers, overseeing the production of content while ensuring the highest standards of content quality and correctness. In addition, you will collaborate closely with SEO Managers to ensure content is optimized for search rankings. Fluency in German is a must, as this role focuses on content for the German-speaking audience.

Core Tasks:

• Work closely with the Head of Marketing, SEO Managers and Head of News to ensure content plans for the DACH crypto department are executed efficiently and on schedule.

• Manage a team of freelance and full-time writers and editors, overseeing the production of new and existing content, including commercial articles, news updates, guides, and evergreen content across German-speaking markets.

• Ensure all content meets our editorial, SEO, and compliance standards for the crypto industry, with a particular focus on content quality and correctness.

• Contribute to content strategy by generating ideas, insights, and recommendations for growth within the crypto sector.

• Have a strong understanding of SEO best practices and how they apply specifically to the crypto space.

• Collaborate with SEO Managers to implement strategies that ensure content is optimized for search rankings.

• Continuously improve existing content based on competitor research, SERP analysis, and current trends within the crypto and blockchain space.

• Source and interview freelance writers and/or content editors, as necessary, ensuring quality standards are met.

Essential Requirements:

• Fluency in German is a must—as the majority of the content will be targeted at German-speaking markets

• Strong understanding of the crypto and blockchain industries

• Proven content management experience, preferably in the crypto, blockchain, or financial sector.

• An eye for detail, knowing what quality crypto-related content should look like to both users and search engines.

• Experience managing a team of writers and editors, ensuring content quality, correctness, and deadlines are met.

• Proficiency in WordPress

• Excellent writing and editing skills

• Self-motivated, highly organized, and able to work independently.

• Proficient in Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and other SEO tools for performance tracking and optimization.

Nice to have Requirements:

• Strong work ethic, able to work independently with initiative, and a good team player who is always willing to learn and improve.

• In-depth knowledge of the crypto industry & blockchain technology

• Familiarity with crypto regulations, trends, and industry shifts, as well as the ability to adapt content strategies accordingly.

• Solid experience with WordPress, especially in managing content related to financial or technology sectors.

• A keen eye for design and page structure, understanding how to present content in a user-friendly, engaging manner for readers in the crypto community.
