Job description

The role of the Business Development Manager is to generate leads, create relationships, meet with past, current, and potential clients, and close sales in line with company products and services in your local region.

As part of a Global Business Development Team, you will be required to attend and participate in sales meetings discussing the needs and strategies for your region, attend industry leading events, and create and deliver presentations in line with global company strategies. You will be responsible for working closely with the Marketing team to align outbound efforts, and using data analytics to measure and improve performance.

We are looking to hire for two roles, one based in Texas and one based in Los Angeles.

Work from home with travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Identify new markets and customer needs

• Arrange business meetings with prospective clients

• Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives

• Create and deliver client presentations in line with company strategies and objectives

• Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines

• Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.

• Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support

• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers

• Identify new opportunities, including new markets, clients, partnerships or services

• Create strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities

• Attend events that present networking opportunities

• Create sales forecasts and actively work towards reaching them

• Develop a strong understanding of The Boundary’s products and it’s market place

Requirements

• Proven experience as a successful business development manager or sales executive

• Proven track record at all stages of the sales cycle

• Excellent communication skills to a range of audiences

• Strong negotiation skills

• Ability to build rapport

• Time management and planning skills

• Ability to multitask and operate in a high pace environment

• A positive team player able to build strong collaborative relationships

• Strong understanding and experience of Microsoft Office and Google workspace

• Experience in customer support is a plus

• Familiarity with real estate or digital marketing sectors is desirable
