A DAY IN THE LIFE
The position is based in Denver, Colorado, with a hybrid or fully remote work schedule. Depending on the experience of the selected candidate, we intend to fill this role under one of two classifications (PC or APM). As a key member of the team, this role will play a crucial part in supporting our oil and natural gas clients by providing data and analytics solutions, along with EMIS software support.
The selected candidate may be responsible for supporting a variety of air quality projects, including but not limited to the following:
GHG reporting under subparts C and/or W (40 CFR Part 98);
Emission modeling, emission calculations and emissions inventory development.
Regulatory applicability analyses for local, state, and federal requirements.
Data system tasks commonly used by Oil and Natural Gas operators (e.g. Intelex ACTS or other similar systems)
Big data tools and proficiency with some coding languages (e.g. Power BI, SQL, Python).
Additional responsibilities for this role include:
Quality control of personal work.
Effectively communicate with both internal and external customers.
Develop and maintain trusting professional relationships with clients and our staff; and
Participate in business development activities to grow the Denver office and diversify our client base.
YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS
B.S. or above from an accredited college or university in an engineering or a related scientific discipline.
At least 3-5 years of air quality and or data experience.
Demonstrates proficient knowledge of some State and Federal air quality regulations including Colorado Regulation 7, CO-ONGEAIR, and Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPAs) Subpart W.
Able to work within Intelex ACTS in terms of aggregating data, assuring methodology and data QA/QC reviews are completed per requirements and capable of building data exports to support reporting or internal company summarization and presentations.
Able to manage technical scopes of work with key internal and external stakeholders including management of contractors to assist in data reporting scopes including IT support or direction to update ACTS systems.
Understanding of engineering concepts such as chemical processes and emissions control technologies.
A high level of professional ethics.
This role may involve travel but is expected to be less than 5% travel.

Proficiency with MS Office suite (e.g., Word/Excel/Teams/SharePoint); and
Understanding of software and tools applicable to your project (e.g., ACTS, AP-42, Promax, etc.).
