Role Name: Spanish-Speaking Medical Receptionist

Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week, 9am to 5pm Northridge, CA Time Monday - Friday

Job Description

As a Medical Phone Operator, you’ll be the vital link between patients and our client’s medical team. Leveraging your bilingual skills and medical knowledge, you’ll manage a high volume of patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and navigate state-of-the-art EMR software. This role offers the unique opportunity to work remotely while making a tangible difference in patient care. Responsibilities

  • Navigate eClinicalWorks EMR software for accurate data entry and retrieval
  • Provide seamless bilingual support in English and Spanish
  • Collaborate with in-house staff and virtual team members via Microsoft Teams
  • Manage appointment scheduling and patient information updates
  • Ensure strict adherence to patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations
  • Contribute to improving overall patient experience and operational efficiency


Requirements

  • Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
  • Previous experience in medical reception or healthcare customer service
  • Solid understanding of medical terminology and basic healthcare processes
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency with computers and ability to quickly adapt to new software
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
  • Availability to work during Pacific Standard Time (PST) business hours
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and following HIPAA guidelines
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a remote team
