ABOUT THE ROLE

Join the Data Platform Engineering team to contribute to building a state-of-the-art data platform for our client, leveraging various open-source technologies and features. As a QA Specialist you will oversee the quality assurance testing of the System, ensuring high-quality deliverables and customer's satisfaction.

We are considering candidates located in NATO countries only. 

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a leading financial institution with a brand that encompasses various data domains, processes, and technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Analysis and coordination of the System testing tasks provided by the Client.

• Preparation of the System test plan and test scenarios in accordance with the agreed terms.

• Detect and document bugs, performance issues, and other defects discovered during testing.

• Provide clear, concise, and detailed defect reports, including steps to reproduce, environment details, and expected vs. actual results.

• Perform regression testing to ensure new changes or features do not negatively affect existing functionality.

• Monitor the execution of the System tests using the JIRA XRAY tool in accordance with the developed test plan.

• Detect possible programming and logic errors, inconsistencies that may adversely affect the System performance.

• Identify potential quality risks and work to mitigate them through proactive test planning.

• Maintain detailed documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports.

• Work as part of a team using the Agile Scrum approach. 

• Continuously evaluate and improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  

REQUIREMENTS

• 2+ years of QA experience.

• Proficient in C# programming language, strong skills with SQL.

• Proficient in test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).

• Strong experience in manual testing practices. Experience in Automation testing is a plus.

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus.

• Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).

• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or equivalent.

• Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter).

• Exposure to cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Experience in Automation testing.
