Job Description

Danfoss, a global market leader in Climate and Power Solutions, has an opening for a Distribution focused Account Manager within our Danfoss Climate Solution Group.  You will have the opportunity to generate sales within the Distribution market segment. Through direct engagement with Distribution customers, you will develop a strong pipeline of new opportunities, strengthen customer relationships and maximize sales to your assigned accounts. This position requires travel throughout Quebec and other eastern provinces of Canada.

 

This is a remote position and the ideal candidate will be located in Quebec.
 

Job Responsibilities

Critical Tasks/Responsibilities
·    Seek opportunities to increase penetration at existing Distribution accounts while identifying prospects for new opportunities.
·    Formulate an action plan to grow profitable sales across all Climate Solutions portfolios.
·    Work to strengthen the Danfoss-Customer relationship
·    Provide technical and sales support to defined accounts within the sales region.
·    Improve Danfoss brand and product awareness within the region
·    Gain a deep understanding of customer applications and become proficient at applying Danfoss products to their applications.

Background & Skills

Basic Minimum Skills Required

·    5+ years of account management with wholesalers/distribution accounts 
·    Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferred HVACR technical background
·    Bilingual in French and English
·    Stable job history that demonstrates a solid track record of performance.
·    Strong communication skills with ability to connect with management, technical, and non-technical people
·    Polished, confident presenter with excellent written and verbal communication skills
·    Computer skills required - Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, etc.
·    Must be organized, self-motivated, and an enthusiastic problem solver with ability to work independently
·    Travel - 40% within sales region
