  • Roadmap Development: Assist leadership in developing roadmaps to support strategic initiatives and transformation efforts. Work with product management to ensure capabilities and integration opportunities exist for new feature development.
  • Documentation and Governance: Create comprehensive business architecture artifacts, functional specifications, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency and quality across projects.
  • Change Management: Support organizational change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and solutions.
  • SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework): Apply SAFe concepts and practices and support the continuous learning culture.
    • Participate in PI Planning and support teams in how to best optimize value delivery and align within the ART (Agile Release Train).
    • Help teams understand the importance of and how to prioritize enablers brought from Portfolio or Solution levels.
    • Support the development product manager and development product owner in identifying and refining Epics and Stories (most often enablers, but also may assist with business-focused items).
  • Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with solution management, development product management, teams, government partners, system architects in other architecture domains (e.g. security, application/technical, data), shared services (e.g. DevSecOps, test automation), and trains within the Conservation Solution train) to:
    • Align with shared vision/Planning Increment roadmap
    • Prioritize and align business needs and enabler efforts supporting cross-cutting concerns needing architectural runway
