Job Title: Remote Project Manager – Software Applications (100% Remote, US)
$75-$84/hr W2

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated project manager with expertise in software applications to lead and manage projects in a fully remote environment. This role requires initiative, independent judgment, and advanced project management skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SDLC, PMLC, and Agile Scrum methodology, with experience collaborating across teams to ensure project success.

The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in key performance areas, including productivity and quality by consistently delivering high-quality work within expected timelines, decision-making and judgment by applying sound strategic thinking for organizational benefit, communication and interactions by effectively engaging stakeholders to drive results and build strong relationships, growth mindset and continuous improvement by leveraging feedback and data-driven insights for ongoing enhancement, and initiative and influence by proactively driving work forward and identifying opportunities for positive impact.

Key Responsibilities

Process Consistency (20%)

• Develop and evaluate processes to ensure consistency in project execution.
• Manage scope changes and schedule adjustments while maintaining project integrity.
• Develop and oversee project budgets and planning strategies.

Deliverable Quality (20%)

• Monitor and measure application quality, ensuring deliverables meet business and technical requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency.
• Ensure all deliverables align with budget constraints and project agreements.

Stakeholder Satisfaction (20%)

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather feedback and ensure alignment.
• Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
• Address concerns proactively to maintain high levels of stakeholder satisfaction.

Leadership (20%)

• Manage and resolve project-related challenges, mitigating risks before they impact deliverables.
• Guide teams toward problem resolution and ensure accountability.
• Motivate and empower team members to take ownership of their roles and drive efficiency improvements.

Vision & Strategy (20%)

• Develop and articulate a clear application and technology roadmap aligned with strategic objectives.
• Lead project initiation and planning to ensure alignment with long-term goals.
• Coordinate efforts across multiple teams to achieve key business and technical milestones.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience working with software application teams using SDLC, PMLC, and Agile Scrum methodology.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle processes and best practices.
• Proven experience managing scope, schedules, budgets, and risks in software projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience working with .NET applications.
• Familiarity with enterprise-level software project management.
• Experience ensuring compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, and security best practices.
