We are looking for an experienced Academic Writing Coach to work with students and help them develop strong academic writing skills. The successful candidate will work closely with students to identify areas for improvement, provide guidance and feedback, and support them in their writing process.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with students to identify areas for improvement in their academic writing skills
  • Provide guidance and feedback on writing assignments, including research papers, essays, and other written projects
  • Help students develop effective writing strategies and techniques
  • Provide support in all stages of the writing process, including brainstorming, outlining, drafting, and revising
  • Work collaboratively with faculty and other academic support staff to provide a holistic approach to student success
  • Keep up-to-date with academic writing trends and best practices
  • Provide workshops and other training opportunities to help students develop their writing skills

Requirements
  • Master's or PhD degree in a relevant field
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with students in an academic setting
  • Familiarity with academic writing styles and citation formats
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
