This is a remote position.

Job Purpose
A business analyst job purpose is to analyze and document the market environment, processes, or systems of businesses. This includes creating detailed business analysis for Cash Management and Trade Products, budgeting, and forecasting, planning, and monitoring, variance analysis, pricing, reporting, and defining business requirements for stakeholders.
Business analyst facilitates the translation of business requirements into solution requirements and follow through during product development and testing to assess and validate that the developed technology and digital solutions are meeting business, product, and customers’ requirements.
Key Result Areas
  • Global Transaction Banking Domain experience is essential in Cash Management and Trade Finance. (Accounts & Deposits, Payments and payment gateways, statements, Import Export LC, Guarantees, Advising, Import Export Collections etc.) 

·         Domain experience in Cash Management / Trade Finance

·         Understanding business objectives, and strategic plans with high capability to comprehend the organization’s goals and problems to be solved.

·         Defining and documenting customer business functions and processes

·         Domain expert in the Cash Management / Trade Finance market, passionate about translating visions into solutions and contributing to a continuous cutting-edge business and organization customer experience 

·         Identifying, defining, and documenting business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements and levels of systems access after consulting with functional unit management and personnel

·         Analyzing the practicability of and developing requirements for new systems and upgrades to existing systems

Certified Scrum master or agile coach with experience on agile practices

·         Ensuring the system design is perfectly aligned with the needs of the users

·         Participating in user acceptance testing and undertaking functional testing of new systems

·         Assisting business and product intent meetings and coaching technical and non-business staff on the product intent, business requirements and value to customers.

·         Developing a training curriculum and conducting formal training sessions covering assigned product module

·         Acting as a team lead on designated projects or assignments and providing work direction to one or more technical or clerical staff.

·         Demonstrate the ability to manage stakeholders across functions

·         Skilled in reviewing SIT, UAT test cases and ensuring all positive and negative functional and non-functional scenarios are covered

·         Able to guide the business on value-added changes and avoid non-value-added changes with focus on business process transformation

·         Work closely with Product Owner and Business stakeholders to identify the prioritized backlog items and expand the required user stories in an incremental deliverable

·         Write BRDs and user stories and contribute to squad ceremonies 

·         Demonstrated experience with process documentation and re-engineering

Operating Environment, Framework and Boundaries, Working Relationships

Working closely with Product Management, Operations, Technology, User experience, sales, and other stakeholders and within a global team.  Being aware of the regional and international developments in the Cash Management and Trade Finance industry and with strong connections within the industry ecosystem

 

Knowledge, Skills & Experience 
  • 10+ years’ experience in the banking industry, of which 7-8 years in team, project and program management experience specifically focused on testing management activities.
  • Ability to manage diverse teams drawing on different skills to enable strong team results.
  • Able to plan and replan with all stakeholders’ concurrence to ensure test stages completeness within planned timelines.
  • Functional and technology knowledge of major banking applications. Experience with Oracle banking products (GTB) is a plus.
  • Experience in managing Senior Stakeholder.
  • Strong organizational and presentation capability.
  • Take initiative in implementing strict project/program management guidelines and disciplines.

·         Skilled in MS Office applications word, excel, PowerPoint, visio, Jira or equivalent Confluence
