Position Title: Business Development Consultant (Sales)
Timings: 9 AM to 5 PM
Reporting to: CEO
Department: Business Development
Location: Edmonton, AB T5J 3R8 (Remote)

Position Purpose:

As a Business Development Consultant (Sales), your primary objective is to drive revenue growth by effectively closing sales deals. You will play a pivotal role in converting leads into satisfied customers through persuasive communication, strategic negotiation, and a deep understanding of our products/services. This position requires a results-driven individual with a proven track record of successful sales closing, a keen market insight, and the ability to build and nurture strong client relationships.

Education & Professional Qualification:

  • Degree(s)/Major(s): Bachelor or Master in a relevant field from a reputed University.

Experience:

  • 2 to 3 years of proven working experience in a related field.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize advanced sales techniques to successfully close deals, ensuring revenue targets are met and exceeded.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitors, and customer behavior to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Cultivate and sustain long-term relationships with clients, providing exceptional support to guarantee customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluate leads generated by the sales team and marketing efforts to prioritize and concentrate efforts on high-potential opportunities.
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of our products/services and effectively communicate their unique value propositions to potential clients.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to design tailored solutions that address the specific needs and challenges of individual clients.
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date records of sales activities, customer interactions, and deal progress using CRM software.
  • Continuously improve through feedback.
  • Consistently meet or surpass monthly and quarterly sales targets and quotas.
  • Provide constructive feedback to the marketing and product development teams based on customer interactions and market insights.




Requirements
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish trust and rapport with clients.
  • Strong negotiation and objection-handling abilities.
  • Proven track record of successful sales closing in a similar role.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of the market and understanding of local business practices.
  • Time management and organization skills to effectively prioritize multiple objectives and achieve volume goals.
  • Should be target-oriented, hard-working, and punctual.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
