POSITION OVERVIEW
dormakaba is seeking a Regional Sales Representative based in the southeastern U.S. for our Vacation Rental business. This individual is responsible for ensuring current dormakaba customers (Property Management Companies) and distributors have the right products and services to expand the current business and identify new markets to sell to those prospective customers.
*This remote position has responsibility for the eastern U.S. with a strong preference that the individual be based in the Carolinas.
HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $85,000 - $95,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Work with partners to maintain and enhance distributor, dealer and Value-Added Reseller (VAR) relationships to maximize sales revenues and market share
- Identify project opportunities through software partners and distributors
- Participate in Distributor expos, table-top events, branch events, and promotional activities
- Collaborate with other Sales Representative and Distribution Development Managers in the region to support and grow the Vacation Rental sales
- Support the Property Management Companies and all other customers to extend and integrate dormakaba products to their business.
WHAT WE REQUIRE
- College degree in a relevant field or equivalent hands-on industry or product experience
- 3+ years’ experience in B2B Sales and/or B2B Sales Support
- Ability to travel 50% - 75%
WHAT WE PREFER
- Experience with smart home technology and IoT
- Knowledge of Vacation Rental market
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management software (Salesforce)
