As the Event Marketing Sr Specialist, you will plan and execute strategic events at Bluebeam, both internal events as well as third party industry events. This role will report to the Director, Global Demand Generation and is an opportunity to plan and execute impactful events across the N. America region, including third party industry events, hosted customer events and our annual customer conference. You will formulate an event strategy, negotiate Bluebeam’s presence at the events, and own execution of the event. You will drive demand generation goals by participating in events that will create leads, and, more importantly, pipeline, with positive ROI. The ideal candidate is versatile, detail-oriented, creative and embraces hard work.

About the Role:

  • Work as an individual contributor to successfully execute 10-12 events annually, end-to-end
  • Become a strategic partner to the sales organization, including them in the planning and promotion process, and working with them to help uncover new prospects and accelerate existing deals during these events.
  • Aid in general global event logistics including, but not limited to: ordering booth materials, show services, restocking of event materials as needed, and managing the shipping/receiving of marketing materials to and from conferences. 
  • Manage the event lead flow including the curation of pre-event attendee lists, post-event attendee list formatting, and managing lead uploads with marketing ops in a timely manner
  • Monitor and analyze event marketing results, following up with the sales teams regularly and providing detailed reports on performance.
  • Support team on initiating research and evaluation of event sponsorships
  • Maintain vendor relationships and conduct venue research as needed
  •  Support the team with event budget management, ensuring the actuals are updated in both our budget tracker 
  • Identify, create, organize, and manage third party webinars, and other activities in collaboration with third-party associations 
  • Track and analyze the effectiveness of marketing programs utilizing marketing technology systems and tools 
  • Manage the forecasting and budgeting for your activities 
  • Lead special projects to support team and company goals as needed 

About You:

  • 4+  years of full-time marketing experience, primarily in a event marketing role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field, preferably with a background in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field.  
  • Analytical mind with strong business acumen and the ability to understand tradeoffs and ROI of program spend
  • Strong creative skills to create “wow” moments through events and creative event marketing
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and get things done
  • Top-notch project management skills, budget management, and attention to detail
  •  Proven success collaborating with sales teams to execute programs that drive measurable business growth
  • Data-driven approach to track and adjust program strategies
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of multi-channel marketing approaches to create end-to-end promotional plans
  • Experience in budget management, forecasting, and maintaining spending limits
  • Comfortable learning new technology and adopting processes. After all, we are a software company
  • 30% - 40% Travel required

Base pay offered will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations. Base pay is one part of Bluebeam’s Total Rewards program, which seeks to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable commission plan, while most non-sales position are eligible for a bonus under the terms of an applicable bonus plan. The base pay range for this position is: $91,600 - $114,500
