As a Japanese and South Korean Content Localization Specialist, you’ll collaborate closely with our localization, SEO, and product teams to ensure high-quality content tailored to the Japanese and South Korean markets.

Your day-to-day
Localize content from English to Japanese and South Korean. You will ensure that our tutorials are insightful, engaging, and valuable for your locale.
Plan and manage the publishing schedule for Japanese and South Korean content each quarter.
Do region-specific keyword research to effectively adapt English tutorials for the target markets, ensuring cultural relevance and alignment with local search trends.
Format articles for an optimal reading experience. Ensure proper styling, images, and internal linking.
Implement SEO best practices, perform post-publishing QA, and update content for search visibility.
Publish tutorials to WordPress and update them as needed to reflect any changes.
Manage localization workflows efficiently, solving challenges as they arise and ensuring content meets quality standards.
Monitor localization trends and innovations to enhance our strategies.
Measure and analyze content performance metrics on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to improve engagement and optimize future strategies.
Collaborate with localization, SEO, and product teams to align strategies and improve keyword research and content funnels.
Your skills and experience
Native-level fluency in Japanese and South Korean and a strong command of English.
2+ years of experience in English to Japanese and South Korean translation, delivering high-quality content for web and technical fields.
Extensive experience with CAT tools (e.g. SmartCat) and familiarity with AI-driven content tools (e.g. ChatGPT).
Attention to detail. You possess a strong ability to maintain formatting, structure, and consistency.
Research-driven mindset with strong sourcing and citation skills.
Experience translating various types of SaaS content, including tutorials, how-to guides, and case studies.
Ability to analyze performance data and carry out keyword research with tools like Ahrefs, SurferSEO, AccuRanker, and Google Search Console.
A strategic, audience-focused mindset, capable of managing multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environment.
Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, SEO, and product teams.
