About the role:
The main purpose to this role is to grow net new revenue through acquisition of new clients in the health industry and the development of strategic partnerships.
What you'll do: Generate and qualify appropriate new business leads in accordance with the strategic planManage the sales process for new prospects, from lead generation to proposals/requests for proposals. Work with potential clients prior to a signed proposal/agreement to set and manage expectations; communicate these to Chief Growth OfficerParticipate and facilitate capabilities meetings and preparation with customized content to build compelling engagementsPartner closely with Chief Growth Officer and General Managers to ensure alignment on new business opportunities (net new and expansion with existing clients)Participate in identification and development of relationships with strategic partners that will help drive revenue through direct business opportunities Work closely with Chief Growth Officer and Marketing management team to define and fulfill annual and long-term business goalsProvide leadership to others involved in business development at Avalere Health, act as internal and external thought leaderAbout you: Education: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a relevant fieldExperience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience in business development with a demonstrated history of success in sales and achieving targetsApplies advanced sales skills and experience.Demonstrates understanding of the industry, company services and client needsSkilled in developing and managing sales plans, budgets and work plansDemonstrates organized and outcome-focused management skillsSets direction and ensures follow thorough.Professionally and intelligently represents organizationExcels in developing and delivering presentations and written communicationDemonstrated experience building strong business relationshipsWorks effectively in a fast-paced collaborative environment; prioritizes and successfully manages multiple projects/deadlines simultaneouslyDefines and resolves issues in a timely and accurate mannerWhat we can offer
