Role Summary
This role will suit an experienced and innovative Global Director of Digital Marketing to lead execution and cross functional collaboration of our digital marketing strategy across global markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing within the IT sector (cybersecurity ideally), with experience driving growth and brand presence on a global scale. This role is critical to shaping the future of our digital presence, enhancing customer engagement, and positioning the company as a leader in the Cybersecurity Industry.
Critical to this role is a demonstrated depth of knowledge and experience running digital media programs worldwide, spanning mature markets and hyper growth non English markets.
What You Will DoGlobal Strategy Development & Execution: Lead the development and execution of global digital marketing strategies that align with business goals, enhance brand awareness, and drive lead generation across multiple regions, including North America, Europe, Pacific and emerging markets.Digital Campaign Leadership: Partner with other functions within marketing on the creation, optimization, and performance of global digital marketing campaigns, including paid search (PPC), SEO, display advertising, email marketing, and social media.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with regional marketing teams, product marketing, sales, and content teams to ensure integrated and consistent messaging and branding across all digital touchpoints.Analytics & Optimization: Use data and analytics to track performance, optimize campaigns, and report on key metrics (e.g., ROI, lead generation, conversion rates). Lead A/B testing, segmentation, and personalization strategies.Customer Journey & Experience: Drive improvements in the customer journey across all digital channels, from initial awareness to conversion and post-sales engagement. Focus on creating seamless, engaging, and personalized experiences.Digital Trends & Innovation: Stay up-to-date on the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and technologies. Introduce and experiment with innovative digital marketing tactics to stay ahead of the competition.Budget Management: Manage global digital marketing budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across various digital marketing channels to maximize impact and ROI.Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a team of 2 digital marketing professionals across various regions, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven culture. Provide guidance and development opportunities for team members.Global Brand Consistency: Ensure global consistency in brand messaging, tone, and identity across all digital platforms, while adapting strategies to local markets when necessary.Vendor & Agency Management: Take the lead on managing the overall agency relationship from a strategic and global stand point. Ensuring a continued strong partnership based on openness, trust and mutual respect.Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and digital partners to execute campaigns effectively and efficiently.What Will You BringMinimum of 10+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role within the Cybersecurity or IT industry or a related tech sector.Proven track record of leading global digital marketing initiatives that drive business growth and customer engagement.Strong experience managing multi-channel digital marketing campaigns at a global scale (SEO, PPC, display, social, email, content etc.)Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant professional certifications is a plus.Demonstrated agency management skills.Effective cross functional collaborator, building cohesive virtual teams to drive results on shared goals.Expertise in data-driven marketing, analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.), and CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot etc.).In-depth knowledge of digital marketing technologies and platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads, SEMrush, Hootsuite etc.).Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage remote teams across different regions.Exceptional communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Knowledge of B2B marketing strategies and the IT sales funnel is highly desirable.Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.Highly analytical with a passion for optimizing digital performance.Creative thinker with a strategic mindset.You must absolutely thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.In Canada, the base salary for this role ranges from $137,000 to $229,000. In addition to base salary, we offer additional compensation including bonus eligibility and a comprehensive benefits package. A candidate’s specific pay within this range will depend on a variety of factors, including job-related skills, training, location, experience, relevant education, certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
